10 Ideas on Parenting

by De'Keither

Parents have to be united. Even if you live in separate households, you must be on the same accord. The things that you put into action need to be things that both of you will commit to. You notice I said commit too, not want to do. If you are single you can just run you own little family factory.

“We only practice two things in life. Making good decisions and developing good habits. This is the only thing we pass on to our children.”

1. Keep the Lord First.

2. Set the example.

3. Tithe 10% Save/ invest 20% of our income, live off of 70%.

If we don’t make enough money we just need to make more or spend less.

4. Understand that my spouse is not perfect.

5. Commit to personal development.

6. Remember the end goal is EXCELLANCE not PERFECTION

7. Have dinner as a family as often as possible.

8. Understand that we are works in progress.

Our goal is to be a standing example of what we want our children to strive to be.

9. We will respect each other.

10. Understand the difference between mad and disappointment.

I hardly ever get mad, most of the time I’m just disappointed.

These are just a few quick ideas.
